It's Australian Cider Day 2024!

Happy Australian Cider Day!

Today: the 8th of March 2024 is the day nominated by Cider Australia to recognise the amazing ciders made in this fair land of Australia.

Small Acres Cyder's original founders started making cider back in 2006 because the range of ciders available in Australia was so limited and mostly mass produced cider. Unfortunately not much has changed if you rely just on what's on the tap in the pub but look a little harder and you'll find there are dozens of amazing cider producers around Australia.

Not all cider is equal so look out for the Cider Australia trust mark: the 100% Australian Grown badge The Cider Australia 100% Australian Grown symbolwhich tells you it's a cider made from Australian apples. Read more about it on our Real Australian Cider blog post.

If you want to find some great cider near you, Cider Australia has a fantastic map of cider producers: https://www.cideraustralia.org.au/resources/australian-cider-map/ .  Buying direct from the producers is the best way to support them but if your local bottle shop doesn't stock real Australian cider with the Aus Grown symbol ask them why.

We'll be having some fun and toasting the day at the Farmers Markets, the Cellar Door and online too. For one week only get $10 off cases of our classic Pomme, Poire or Apple and Pear Non Alcoholic ciders. Use the promo code: AusCider2024
